At Mysteries & Mayhem Games LLC ("Mysteries & Mayhem Games," "we," "our," or "us"), we want you to have a great experience with our products and events. If something isn't right, we're happy to work with you to find a fair solution.

This Return & Refund Policy explains when refunds or cancellations are available.

1. Digital Products

Because digital products are delivered immediately and cannot be "returned," all sales of digital downloads are generally final.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Murder mystery game kits

  • TTRPG adventures and modules

  • Printable maps

  • Educational games and activities

  • Solo mystery games

  • Digital game accessories

Refunds for digital products will only be considered if:

  • you accidentally purchased the same product more than once;

  • you were charged incorrectly;

  • the file is corrupted or cannot be accessed, and we are unable to provide a working replacement; or

  • we determine, at our sole discretion, that another exceptional circumstance applies.

If you experience technical issues accessing a digital product, please contact us. We are happy to help resolve download or file issues whenever possible.

2. Event Registrations

Cancellation policies for hosted events may vary depending on the event.

Unless otherwise stated on the event registration page:

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made 7–13 days before the event will receive a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before the event are generally non-refundable.

If we cancel an event, attendees will receive either:

  • a full refund; or

  • the option to transfer their registration to a future event.

If an event is postponed, registered participants may choose to attend the rescheduled event or request a refund.

3. Custom Games and Design Services

Because custom games and design work involve significant planning, creative effort, and collaboration, payments for custom projects are generally non-refundable once work has begun. Specific cancellation terms, payment schedules, and refund provisions will be outlined in each custom project agreement.

4. Educational and Organizational Purchases

Schools, libraries, businesses, and organizations purchasing educational products or licensing materials may be subject to separate agreements that supersede this policy where applicable.

5. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with:

  • Your name

  • Order number (if applicable)

  • Date of purchase

  • A description of the issue

We review each request promptly and will work with you to resolve any problems as fairly and efficiently as possible.

7. Processing Refunds

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days after approval. Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.
