1. Eligibility

3. Orders and Payment

5. Custom Game Projects

Custom game design projects are governed by separate written agreements. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Mysteries & Mayhem Games retains ownership of underlying game mechanics, templates, artwork, writing style, and design systems.

  • Clients retain ownership of any original content they provide.

  • We may adapt general ideas, mechanics, or non-confidential concepts developed during custom projects for future products, provided we do not disclose confidential or client-specific information.

6. Educational Use

Unless a product specifically includes an educational or institutional license, purchases are intended for personal use only. Schools, libraries, organizations, and businesses wishing to reproduce or distribute materials beyond the scope of a standard purchase should contact us regarding licensing options.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and in our products is protected by copyright and other applicable intellectual property laws. This includes, but is not limited to:

You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit.

9. Playtesting

Playtesting helps us improve our games. Unless otherwise stated:

  • participation is voluntary;

  • playtest materials may change before publication;

  • feedback may be incorporated into future products without additional compensation;

  • playtest materials remain confidential if designated as confidential.

Separate playtesting agreements may apply to specific events.

10. Live Events

Participants agree to behave respectfully toward staff, venue personnel, and other attendees. We reserve the right to remove participants whose behavior is disruptive, threatening, discriminatory, or unsafe. Certain events may require separate participation agreements or waivers. Event cancellation and refund policies are described in our Refund Policy or event registration materials.

11. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • violate any applicable laws;

  • interfere with website security;

  • introduce malicious software;

  • attempt unauthorized access to our systems;

  • impersonate another person;

  • infringe our intellectual property rights;
